Yup. Should be decent. Using it myself. Great hardware. Can play downloaded mkv files smoothly from 1TB external HD with dolby/thx sound quality (requires latest firmware update).

Hi thanks for your kind reply. Anyway i have something to ask, its funny that with the wifi connection on stock router at full bars, i get around 22-25mbps on speednet test, but the powerline adaptor tplink wpa4220 wifi (at level 1) with full bars i got aroud 35mbps. why is this so? why is the powerline adaptor gave better speedtest?

You r welcome, Please see above... I'd like to help more but as this is a KODI specific thread.... Networking issues.....-------->>> Here.

P.S. Unifi 30Mbps + Multi-storey location = Ditch the stock TM router and get a better one. nod.gif

Maybe you can try adding advancedsettings.xml to your kodi. Paste below code into .txt file first. Upon saving it, save as advancedsettings.xml
CODE

<advancedsettings>
<network>
<buffermode> 1 </buffermode>
<readbufferfactor> 2 </readbufferfactor>
<cachemembuffersize> 157286400 </cachemembuffersize>
</network>
</advancedsettings>

I encountered same issue with you. After I add this advancedsettings.xml file to folder "Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/" last night, the issue has gone for now. Before this, the box can't even play 1080p video at all and keep receiving "cache is full etc etc etc". I only managed to test two 1080p movie last night and it works great.

Make sure you have ES file explorer and enable hidden folder as the ".kodi/userdata/" folder in "Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/" is hidden.

I only use WiFi to though. I hope that's help

I refer to below article to set my advancedsettings.xml
