Can 2 both questions. The real questions lie with box performance and if you are willing to deal with the efforts required to seek and or maintain live TV sources. You are currently paying TM to deal with that.

already took ur advice on clear cache/thumbnail .. clear up 600++MB of STB space .. no lagg .. but after clearing some of the picture (thumbnail) kinda slow to load but no issue .. i not yet using purge package cause still dont know what will happen .. afraid will lost my addons

Oh I see.. That's good. Yeah, clearing the thumbnails and cache folder will do that as KODI now needs to re-download files as you open them rather than fetching them from previously downloaded content. Why not do a Kodi backup first, location set to an external location, then delete some more items & see if your addons or settings are affected. If major issues happen, simply do a fresh install & restore the backup.

Edit: Or just buy a dedicated media box, powerful enough to do its job with minimal fuss.

my advice is to let hyppbox do hypptv.

waste of time, waste of talent to try to get more out of it - it's a simple low memory android.

get a genuine androidbox to get the real stuff.

no issue on that .. i was thinking the same thing on backup ..
still kinda blur on purge package ..

so far .. unifi stb can play all livestream with no issue .. tvseries in HD sometimes but fine in HQ ..
for movies .. i able to test watching Titanic on 1080p .. but in 720p some movies can .. but in HQ no problem at all.
issue with unifi stb is the storage and maybe RAM speed .. but for basic android box for me its okay la ..

it's ok to use it for learning.

the time will come when u get really frustrated why this can't, that cannot...

apps and addons get bigger all the time.
