hi anyone got any stable football live stream / addons available out there? most of them very slow during real match.. dont mind if need to subscribe for small amount also if the server is good. i got astro on the go but cannot install/run the app inside the android box because the 'rooted' checking. (try to bypass but cannot for some reason)..

QUOTE(voncrane @ Oct 23 2015, 10:30 AM) Setting zero cache is strongly ill-advised and I'm not a fan of using SD cards to cache content. Better use my 16GB internal storage. It will be years before the internal storage faces any read or write issues and by then, most of us would have moved on to a better box. So no worries there. I manually set cache size to around 200MB-ish & it's proven sufficient. Remember that the higher the cache size you set, KODI will need around 3 times that as RAM. So make sure your box also has sufficient RAM as well to avoid issues. I have 1GB RAM box. What's the max cache I can set? That is after considering the amount of RAM to run android and Kodi.I'm thinking of upgrading to a 2GB RAM box. I read that AmLogic s812 M8S is quite good. Any users that can comment on this box? |

IMHO, If you can upgrade to a 2GB RAM equipped box, do so. Then you can increase the cache size should you run into buffering issues that shouldn't normally occur. About the M8s Amlogic S812 box, guess you've gotten real user feedback on it.I'm thinking of upgrading to a 2GB RAM box. I read that AmLogic s812 M8S is quite good. I've read about how amazing the Minix Neo X8-H plus but it is a bit too much for me budget wise and usage.I've read that you said any box under RM300 are not good. But the X8 is based on AmLogic S812 too. But the M8s is half the price of X8. So, what makes X8 better than M8S hardware wise? |

Thanks There are addons for poster/fanart that you can install to automatically fetch the necessary files. However, I prefer to choose my movie posters. Copy the poster jpg file to the folder of the movie and rename it poster.jpg. The folder will appear in Kodi as a poster. Make another copy of poster.jpg and rename it name_of_movie_file.tbn and the movie file will appear as a thumbnail. A little bit of extra work, but I organize my movie collection in exactly the way I want. |

Hey, a good box is more than just having a particular CPU, if the OS isn't optimized to take advantage of it and other components, you'll still have a buggy box. The Minix Neo X8-H plus might not be the perfect box out there but there's no denying that it enjoys decent support and tons of reviews out there about it. Sure its more expensive, but I'd rather wait a month or 6 to save up the extra cash to buy a satisfactory box than one that might pose issues, aka, android boxes or sticks under $70. If you only need KODI, how about the RPI 2? FYI, its requires more hands on.I've read that you said any box under RM300 are not good. But the X8 is based on AmLogic S812 too.
