like to add to jaan76's reply, below is the official distributor of Raspberry Pi 2 Model B. Group buy can save a bit, but most important is that group will be able to form a small self-help group to help each others when encounter issue & share information.
Efforts go to jaan76 rclxms.gif

Bro what are the configs of your PC and what's your internet speed? I'm using my list and many other IPTVs Addons on 3 different devices and even streaming 720p/1080p channels and have almost never experienced buffering. One of the device i used for streaming was RPI 2 which only got 1gb RAM and still runs everything smoothly.
*
I don't know what's the problem but I don't think it's line speed.

I can watch the same channels (e.g Discovery Channel, I.D Investigation Discovery) from IPTV Stalker without any buffering. The player shows 720P.

But when I watch the same two channels from your listing , they buffer every 2-5 seconds. The player shows SD.

I am thinking it's got to do with the sources where the stream are from. When I have the time, I will explore more channels to see if it's only some sources that's giving this problem.

For Manchester United Fans, can view Live on Foxsport 1 US , Club America vs MU, just started.

--------------------

Haha spoke too soon, after switch over other channel then went back to Foxsport 1 US, can't view again.

Now switched over to MUTV (SD) can view again. Schneiderlin scored 5 min.

Here's the link for RPI 2 and i think this is the best deal on Lelong
http://www.lelong.com.my/raspberry-pi-2-ca...7-01-Sale-I.htm
You get few freebies with the above deal, if not interested in freebies the below is another link for just the board.
http://www.lelong.com.my/original-raspberr...7-01-Sale-I.htm
and you can look for following casings incase if you don't go for 1st option:

http://www.lelong.com.my/enclosure-transpa...5-12-Sale-P.htm
http://www.lelong.com.my/raspberry-pi-2-mo...7-01-Sale-I.htm
http://www.lelong.com.my/raspberry-pi-b-2-...7-01-Sale-I.htm
http://www.lelong.com.my/raspberry-pi-b-2-...7-01-Sale-I.htm

I don't think you need to buy the WiFi dongle unless you not interested n LAN, which is more recommended cuz of speed and BTW don't forget to buy original power adapter, do not use others.... Power is important for good performance.

For remote I would recommend RII RT-MWK25
http://www.lelong.com.my/rii-mini-i25-k25-...6-07-Sale-P.htm
http://www.lelong.com.my/rii-mini-i25-rt-m...6-07-Sale-P.htm

or if you want a bit cheaper then you can buy Mele F10 Pro
http://www.lelong.com.my/mele-f10-deluxe-2...7-01-Sale-I.htm

I have personally tested Mele F10 Pro but i have read reviews of Rii and i think Rii is better and i will be buying a Rii this week for a friend of mine for whom i'm building another media player this week smile.gif

So take your picks bro and Enjoy smile.gif

You need to have a card which can take video feed, though i think with Astro it's difficult to get the direct feed, cuz Astro channels depending on decoder and smart card... so a normal TV tuner card may not work for Astro feed.

4mbps = 488 KBps

sd video streams take 100-200 KBps
hd video streams take 300-500 KBps
hd video + hd audio takes a lot more

and that is when u r using alone, not sharing with other users.

my experience, 10 mbps is good enough for most home streaming incl 2-3 users at any time.

HI all,

Has anyone used MiBox supported by KODI before?
Found a seller below:
mibox kodi

And I'm quite interested with it.

Please let me know if there's any issue with this box/mod so that I can start looking for others. (Completely clueless in this area)

True that...now on 10mbps unifi...2 kodi streaming, 2 on youtube and few surfing. still good....but the new 30mbps is tempting. now i am paying rm169 but 30mbps is rm210? dont think i would mind the 5mbps upload though.

Sure bro do your research it's always good but as i mentioned there's hardly a Android media box brand which you can name here and i would not have tried and based on that experience i recommended that instead of wasting money on those so call good for nothing Android boxes you should spend that money to build/buy a Raspberry PI 2. Based on different prices listed on Lelong and depending on how much storage you want in the RPI 2 it can cost you max RM400... This RM 400 will buy you a RPI 2 device with a class 10 32GB sd card and a wireless remote with keyboard at the back.
I have just build one for a friend of mine and that's how much it cost. If you only gonna use it to play online contents and IPTV and you do not have any local media (huge library of locally stored movies) then you won't need even a 32GB card and a 8GB or 16GB card will do which will bring down the cost as most of the Ads listed on lelong/here do include a bundle 8gb sd card and so price can be minus 70/75RM from the RM400. Again if you don't want to use a fancy wireless remote and simple IR or a old keyboard can do the job you can minus another RM100 from the cost.. So as such the device is around RM200 only but i think that would be the best RM200-400 you will spend to build a good performing media box.

If you new to all this i can help you build one and setup with all the cool Add-ons for movies and LiveTVs. smile.gif

After reading your post, quite interested in getting this.
So, can you help to build one and setup as mentioned? How much would it cost in total? smile.gif

these new unifi deals 30, 50 mbps at those "low" prices have been teasing around but no details.

some say for certain areas, some say for new users only, some say open to after merdeka.

but 2 things we can be sure of : 1. unifi has been doing all kinds of differential pricing everywhere over time, very annoying as there seems to be no std pricing; and 2. hypptv whichever way touted seems unwanted by most customers if given a choice, now surviving only as a bundle.

so, we wait...

You can look for RII or Mele few links for your

Yes they do. Whole keyboard works without issue. But some keys on front/media side are not recognizable but rest works and can be configured to perform any action.
