Yeah I saw that list.

Just thought of getting recommendation from users here who have successfully set up before on which model will they recommend.

I have seen the video on Youtube. Astro Beyond HD on Kodi can be done.

Need the TV Tuner and the Stripper to remove the HDCP.

Just saw the video demo, pretty cool
Btw, have you ever tried OSMC?

Yeah its pretty cool. But sounds like need to invest about RM1k to make it work.

Have not tried OSMC. Am using OpenElec as the OS. Boots straight into Kodi.

Aiyoo, do tvtuners and splitter cost that much?
The way I see it, OSMC is built on top of raspbian so you can load the desktop and allows to install stuff easily like mysql server/aria2 which can't be done on openelec.
Other than the boot time slower by like 2 seconds, everthing else seems snappy with the latest build.

Hi,

Anyone here channeling Astro Beyond HD through their Open Elec?

Looking to set that up, and first advice needed:-

Which TV Tuner Card to buy that supports HD and works out of the box with Open Elec?
*
Directly, no. Indirectly, yes.

What you need is a HDMI capture card/box, not a TV tuner card, preferably with built in IR Blaster function. You'll need to hook it up to a Windows PC to act as a server since it's the platform with most driver and software support for what you want to do. You'll also need a HDCP stripper, some HDMI switch/splitters have this as a hidden function.

On the software side if you go with Hauppauge HD-PVR2, Colossus or Colossus 2, it will come with the necessary software.

I have mine setup to feed my Astro channels to a Raspberry Pi 2 and another Amlogic AM8726-MX box running OpenElec.

Hi, I am new to Kodi. I use Icefilms/PutlockerTV to watch TV shows. Yesterday, I use Icefilms to watch TV shows and the streaming was fine.. until it doesn't stream for next episode. It only have 2 sources; 180Upload and Movreel. I tried both and it doesn't stream. Any idea?

And putlockerTV.. I don;t know. When I click any shows to stream, it only show "Script Failed!"

My experience, those asking for captcha are no better.
Those with registration, they may only if u r on US or UK proxy.
May not apply from here.

greetings everyone!

how to make the wireless mouse scroll work in KODI? this is important because if we have this option working, it's easier to scroll down to select add-ons or movie selection.

help needed, pls.

thanks guys.
