I think its over grooming..... coz lovebirds like to preen each other, especially the face and neck area. Do monitor grooming activities..... as for a vet with avian knowledge, I only know AMC's Dr Siva and also a vet working in UPM that can treat birds.... other vets do not have any idea.
yup.. agreed. thats why theyre called "love"birds cuz they just cant stop showering affection on each other.
you also can try giving them more toys so they wont get bored.

A budgie is about RM18 to Rm25... Well, last time I bought Rm18 lah and recently saw RM25.
Just google for Budgerigar Caresheets. I don't read online coz I have magazines and books that has caresheets and guides.
Keep in your room? Budgies are a bit noisy, all parrots are lah. Keeping in your room is not healthy since the bird poo can contain mold and fungus when dried. Also when it is molting season, your room may be full of down feathers on the floor.
All birds need sunlight once a while. Parrots can also be messy eaters and scatter seeds and fruit pulp on the floor.
now budgies are like rm 30-35.. the english ones? rm400Just google for Budgerigar Caresheets. I don't read online coz I have magazines and books that has caresheets and guides.
