QUOTE(LoveDoggY @ May 11 2008, 12:59 AM) Is baby eagle.. Leg injured. My grandpa picked him from forest i think if i not wrong. Did it survive? So your Grandpa release it back to forest already? Or keep it as pet now? Hard to keep eagle as pet I guess, unless you lived near ulu area, nobody bothers. If in urban area, sure neighbour will complain. Everyday eat meat. Once recover, will send it back to forest.

Even my Shama & Magpie are tamed, they will not be as tamed as my Cockatiel. At most they will come forward to me when I feed them mealworm or cricket form my hand. The Pekin Robin and Mateh Puteh are not tamed at all, very difficult to calm them down even I just want to change the water or add food into their cage, they will be panicked and flying here & there banged the cage till bleed near nose area. In order not to let them injured further, I try not to get too close to their cage. Like that even harder to get them familiar with us with short period of time.

QUOTE(Juztiny @ May 11 2008, 02:20 AM) To share some pictures of the Pekin Robin and Mata Puteh. Till today my Pekin Robin still don't want to sing even I played the sound I record from the birdshop. When I bought him that time he was singing in the birdshop though. Mata Puteh do call some short note everyday. It has a tiny body size but can really eat a lot food/veg. Where did u get it? i Love pekin robin Love its flip, song.. everything

Not easy to find these days, especially recent outbreak of birdflu in overseas. There were 2 birds there, but I saw this one singing and the other one didn't. It is very colourful and good looking bird.

This morning found out that my Sharma died. I noticed that it has not been eating its food pellet for last 2-3 days, just waiting for us to feed him mealworms. We did feed it, but not much, trying to encourage it to eat its own food pellets. But apparently it is very stiff neck. Because I noticed its shit only white waste and little waste like worm looking, not the same as my Magpies for the past 3-4 days. Sigh.......looks like Sharma very hard and difficult to keep.
