For starter. It's better to go for a full box set such as DAM or Soldier Story. STAY AWAY from Veryhot as they are for customizer (like me) as their quality not up to average. Ironically VH does have some nice accessories which not available on other brands.

GET yourselves a nice of tweezer and UHU glue, these are your best friend in long run.

Kit bashing aka customized figure can be very expensive but you will have your very own unique figure.

throughout this hobby, you are bound to break some small parts. So UHU glue is there for the rescue. Plus its not strong as any super elephant glue. U can use to fix or stay some parts but can later remove them (i.e) night vision that's always too heavy to stay in place.

i started off with BBi, then watch HT slowly grow until HT forsaken us by going into MMS series
thank god Soldier Story to the rescue and comes in DAMtoys all is good now (but not my wallet)

i was in those forums. that nick sounded familiar. is the one with uber skill in modding/ sculpting / painting ?

during TC & CD outing was during my semi-retirement. but i heard they do offer some nice stuff just that not up to par with Soldier Story at that time.

Currently. The best military box sets out there are by Damtoys then follow by Soldier Story. DiD produced some nice stuff. But very expensive.

yeah, the stand actually "stand out"..but abit price to get locally.. i'm importing them directly from China so the same amount but in RMB.. plus many other stands design.
