Rules of etiquette  sweat.gif

6- If a woman shows up - DO NOT GAWK. They are part of the human species and also deserve the utmost respect. Do not fear that this is the only one.
7- Do not bring food or drinks near any equipment, including your own.
8- If you eat, please WASH YOUR DIRTY, GREASY HANDS BEFORE touching other people's equipment.
9- Do not ask the vendors too many questions. They want to have fun too and others may want to ask questions as well.
11- No shirt, no shoes, no headfi meet.
12- Do not put screw drivers in electrical outlets.
13- Please wear deodorant if you do expire a little faster than others.

on the above rules, got incident(s) happened while i was away from the scene? care to share stories? can pm me if not convenient to disclose publicly tongue.gif

as for me, i'll probably go hang out without gears if i'm free on that time. due to heavy everyday usage (as my speakers are STILL down *cough lex cough* ) the leather has already deteriorated and even torn for the left ear pad so i doubt anyone would want to try my headphones sweat.gif

As does my Philips one, the leather has degraded is coming off in pieces even though I did not use it much (and the leather never touched anything while in storage). The only thing I can think of that contributes to the degradation is sweat (that remained on the surface). As for your speakers, those amplifier I.Cs will be snipped off (cut the pins) as those remaining degraded glue are really stubborn and difficult to get it out (already tried other solvents also to try to soften and dissolve the glue). The other day, I thought had completed repairs on a Logitech Z506, only to have the power supply blow again when cranking up the volume. Believe it or not, this Logitech speaker is rated at 75WRMS and yet the power supply (switching type) is only a paltry 35W! Still many repairs in tow... sweat.gif

yeah that's the thing - i sweat a whole damn lot sad.gif
which is why ultimately i prefer speakers over headphone.

apologies that i couldn't post earlier as i went for another TT with friends until 10+pm then 17+ hours straight gaming marathon sweat.gif

Anyways, the meridian explorer really took me by surprise on how well it can upsample 320kbit mp3's 44/48khz to 24-bit/192kHz without any noticeable flaws.

The dita was also impressive on the vocals and i initially even thought it was Japanese with all the heavy marketing to Japanese market with their website even available in Japanese.

but yeah as you've clarified that Dita being Singaporean instead, it became apparent as to why the japanese site wasn't thoroughly done laugh.gif
