Dear Lyners,

I am interested in buying My Rapid Card RM100 - unlimited travel monthly. I noticed there are some Terms and Conditions applied to the card.

Here are my questions:

1. Is it true that I can have unlimited travel on a daily, weekly or even in a month via bus, rail and monorail?
2. How is the RM100 deducted from my card? Will the amount 'expired' after a month?

one off tolak rm100, then unlimited usage for rapidkl service.

1. True. Very true, unlimited on 3 ride types all day everyday for a month from the activation date (30 days).
2. Deducted once activated from the TVM located at any station. You will need to top-up RM100 into your myrapid before activating 30days pass. After 30 days of usage, and you ride without the 30days pass, it will deduct your card pocket balance.

I've got another question here. What is the difference between Reload and Renew? I assumed reload is topping up RM100 for another month. But what is the purpose of renew?

reload = you top up to the card
renew = you renew and the 100 minus out from the card

Sorry for being noob here. Assuming I've just purchased a new card at the counter...so I need to bring my card the nearest TVM and get it renewed and activate it at the gate reader.

A month later, I have to reload with RM100 and then renewed the card before using it?

Yes.

It's like this. You can reload any amount you like into your card, any time.

Now if you want to use it as unlimited, you need to renew the subscription. Each subscription cost RM100 (deducted from your card) and good for 30 days. Next month renew the subscription again if you wanna use it as unlimited (make sure have enough balance). If you don't renew, it will become normal myrapid card i.e. pay per use.
