What do you see?

There lies the simple question.

Can a profit increase forever?

So the question is for how long can Dlady sustain its growth?
Without the explosive growth, would one buy Dlady at current price?

When DLady announced its profits on 25/2, what was DLady price? 48 bucks.
Price now 47.50.
Profits was good, got 1.10 dividend also.
Why didn't the stock run?

Have you studied growth stocks, its growth and its relation to stock prices?

Once growth slows, what's the normal market reaction to the stock?

In 2011, back in Sept/Oct one could have bought DLady for less than 19 bucks.

I think the stock is about FAIRLY priced at about 47ish...

Dividends is not bad....

The risk is as everyone is taught, no business growth can grow forever one...
not possible lor....
so when the growth rates goes from EXPOSIVE GROWTH to NORMAL MINIMAL GROWTH (ie slows down drastically) ..
sometimes the market can react very negatively to the stock.

It's not about the stock fundamental is bad...
just the market mindset only....

Look at TOP GLOVE.

It was once a stock with explosive growth...
one of the top in the world in its industry...
with explosive growth, top glove flew....
but once the explosive ended....
we all saw how the stock price came crashing down.........

anyway... this is a somewhat a risk assessment...

Moving $$$ to better potential counters...foresee at current PRICE the yield is only like...5.8%. Still keeping half of my holding.

Last time when it is priced at 1.30... everyone was talking about yield...keep it as FD and long term. 

Now cheaper than IPO price, so now people aim for capital appreciation ?

hey boon, i remember this as well. but you have to take notice one 1 thing, is that their divvy is freaking high last year. from he date i bought it, it gives me a average of 5% divvy for interim. if this year continue last year trend, i would be getting 15% per year ROI. so if this year remains that the current rate, why would i leave my comfort zone? unless you have better stock to intro but i knew you wouldn't do this
owh ya. about the warrant converting issue, i shall sit back and see what is going to happens next. i believe the company would at least consider a win-win solution for this
well i didnt put much on this stock. i got more faith in fitters. and will certainly consider if there is other better 1 around.
