Same here. As the old saying goes, you're bound to get burnt when you start out before you truly learn.

If don't understand, do what I did last time...
stay away from the market...
until you are absolutely sure about what you are doing...

the share market can kill one....
it has happen...
and will continue to happen...

I also don't understand the market all that well, but I'm getting old. Have to gamble a bit and try my luck. Trying very desperate to learn from all the sifus here

Yes, on one hand market is indeed a big gamble.

RISKS are aplenty everywhere.... sweat.gif

But simply trying luck....
errr ..... sweat.gif

very much not advisable.
Practice before you start betting with real money.

Myself, did many years of practice.....
*
I've been doing that for a few months, but with real money, in small quantity. Mostly breakevens / small gains due to small quantity. Still a bit scared to play intraday / T + 3 in volume.

I did almost 5 years of practice. smile.gif

you do with real money...
you end up...
paying tuition fees...
something which I think is un-neccessary ....... sweat.gif
A waste of money...
and if you not careful....
trousers will fall out...
My practice sessions had several times when I lost all. smile.gif
*
Hehe ... Thanks for the advise. Ya, I do keep a small booklet for simulation practises on those stocks that I cannot afford.

I have set aside 15k for trading, of which 3 - 4k I'm prepared to pay tuition fees. That's why I have to enter very carefully. Can only be adventurous on paper shakehead.gif
