Price is not based on past record...as it is irrelevant. How high is high and how low is low enough?

It is based on current and expected financial performance. Try looking into the financial performance and see if the current price is fair or not.

Government related company do not necessary earn money or grow. look at MAS which is very government controlled losing 1.2 billion a year and the share price is on a dive.

Also having a big project does not means they will earn lots of money. Gamuda is currently doing the multi billion electricifed double track trainline, so where has it got them?

It's ok, we can learn together.

Do 1 by 1 first.. try answer the questions properly on Gamuda first.

Simple. Read the news and financial reports.

There is no trick.. just understanding what you read and lots of practice.

Another china company bites the dust...

Eratat Lifestyle makes soles, shoes and clothing. On it's financial records it state that it has 646 million RMB in in's bank accounts. This amount was verified by the auditors & board of directors on January 2014 via the following.

1. Personal visit to Agriculture Bank of China and get print out from the bank system from the Branch Manager
2. Login and checking of the amount in the online banking system
3. Letter of confirmation of the amount in the accounts with the bank letterhead and signatory.

Since CNY, the factory remains closed and the owners, ENTIRE management team & all workers has not come back to work. They have basically disappeared and cannot be contacted.

Due to the missing workers and the CEO. The interim CEO makes further probes into the bank account found that the cash reported is not in existence. The share is currently suspended and awaiting special audit.

And this company is the previous winner of SIAS Corporate governance Award & “Most Transparent Company Award 2013, Mainboard Small Caps Category”

BTW Due to this Ukraine-Russia spat, some commodities have went up 50% in the last 2 weeks..

Still very mild only... watch out for commodity prices of phosphate, potash and sulphur...
