What are the current quietest 16" tyres in 2013 or 2014 with decent or average handling which will likely be quieter than the Goodyear Assurance Fuelmax or Michelin Primacy LC?

I was told the Yokohama dB are quiet tyres handling is not very good. Also, they wear out very fast and will start to be noisy sooner than you would expect. Is this true?

Any other alternatives to quiet tyres? Any advice would be appreciated.

advan db is rated over 400 treadwear so i doubt it wears out fast.

and i believe the handling would be of at least decent levels considering it at least bears the "Advan" brand name.

I was thinking to switch to either GY F1 D5 or GY Assurance TripleMax when the time comes.

Anyone know of either are more quiet then the stock tires on the Preve?

never experienced champiro bax 2, however d5 is directional and bax 2 is asymmetric, generally directional are noisier.

assurance fuelmax cant match Advan DB

michelin primacy can match with advan db

tire is wear and tear item , so it wont always perform like new tire

and i was told that many happy end user for the Advan DB
