Hey guys.
I wanna ask something la Im currently 17 going 18. IM working at McD while waiting for my result.  Now i have to open a maybank account if i want my gaji this month The question is. Am i eligible to open 1?  My mom said i cant cus im not 18. All my friends alrdy got la. Aiseyh I'm so frustrated  . She's treating me like i'm a lil boy so guys. Help?  |

For Personal/Joint accounts Basic Savings Account (BSA) - adult above 18 years old Basic Savings Account Trust (BSA Trust) - children below 18 years old with parents or legal guardians below 60 years of age Basic Savings Account Minor (BSA Minor) - teenager aged 12 to below 18 years old Required Primary Documents: MyKad (IC)/Police or Armed Forces ID Card Birth Certificate and MyKid (i.e for in-trust and minor accounts) Passport (i.e for non-residents/foreigner) Please also bring along any of the following secondary supporting documents:- Valid Passport (if IC is produced as a Primary document) Valid driving licence Utility bills (e.g. water/electricity/telephone bills, Quit Rent, Assessment Notice) in the name and address of the customer opening the account Letter of employment Credit card Please choose a branch located near your home or place of work. Fees & charges Replacement of ATM/bankcard: RM12 Early closure of account within 3 months of account opening: RM20 Cash withdrawals at ATM facilities owned by other banks (MEPS charges): RM1 |

In short, you can open an account, but you need to bring along one of your parents.

Hi...
I've been trying to search some info on what is the exact amount of minimum balance can be kept in a wadiah savings account but cannot find the answer...maybe i got the wrong keyword...if there is an answer in other thread could someone please redirect me there... The question is if i had rm370.95 in my account...can i transfer or cashout rm370? Thank you... Your help is much appreciated.... |
