Noted and many thanks.
Is 32 GB occupied by Windows Vista normal? If so, then no need to try to trim this folder.
What is pagefile.sys? Can be deleted? Or reduced? How?
I will try to trim my user folder.
Many thanks.
Cheerio.
P/S Did some checks on the web. Vista is supposed to take up about 15GB but in practice, 32 GB! Lousy system.
it takes above 15gb because of system updates and system restore points.
go search on how to reduce "system restore" space. put 5% already more than enough to me
pagefile.sys can be set from this place:
right click my computer, properties, advanced tab, 1st setting button, avdanced tab, change button.
untick automatic then u can adjust yourself. i recommend 300-500mb if pc has enough ram like 4gb above.
if u turn off pagefile windows will crash after ram are all used up.
want more space? go add/remove programs section. look LEFT SIDE there will have "manage windows features".
disable the unnecessary add-on
