Dear all, i plan to buy 2 budget bicycle for myself and wife for casual cycling at the park on weekend, with baby carrier on both to bring our kids also.
Prefer folding because can keep in car's boot.
Can i get at 1k maximum? see some cheap one at bicycle buy sell but not sure the brand is reliable or not.

for kids, it is ok

It is not about how many times per week u use, but how would you like your bike to feel and perform EVERYTIME you ride it?

a good (fitting you) bicycle is like having a trophy wife. everyday you keep on thinking of going home and "ride" her.
an unsuitable bicycle will only make you get bored very soon and makes you lose interest.

so think deep think hard what do you want to achieve by cycling? if just for convenience sake of riding some taman and go buy groceries, then ANY low priced bicycle will do.

if you have  solid target to achieve, like say for fitness, for touring, or to indulge in some sports then it is better to buy a bicycle from established brands. do note that even established brands have budget models too so you are not forced to pay more than rm1k for a bicycle everytime.

Any body ride around Jln Ampang, near Ampang Park KLCC areas?

How come I am curious there are no Ampang Folding Bke Club or Society. Lots of them seem to reside in Puchong and PJ but not in Ampang. One in Ampang are for those serious racing bike riders but not for people who just want to have fun on a foldie.

I checked the Net, Facebook and all so could someone start one 

Hey peeps, i just recently got myself a cheap, used foldie (Garion). It works surprisingly to my liking. I know, plenty of others that would be way better but im still a student so budget is very low xD

Need to ask, anybody know where to get a cheap carrying bag for foldies (20")? Is it okay if instead of carrying the foldie, i just drag it along (using the wheels, not drag the steel body on the floor )? was thinking to save money and just use IKEA bag but that one considered like last option for me la
