Well it's still 18 speed compared to the vigor which is 9 speed...but it is damn light..still.

In china japan VISC call obi wan  , the body frame is 7005 aluminium alloy , Ubi wan spec is more better than VISC and price also cheap than here .

Personally, a foldie is for fun.  It will do kms so long as you don't expect constant high speeds.  20-25kph might be ok under perfect conditions, ie no head wind, not too hot....  If you want higher speed and doing longer distances, you still need big wheel bikes.  If space is an issue, then make sure the foldie you buy has decent gears, otherwise you will upgrade, or worse, not ride the bike.  If you are buying an 8 or 9 speed one, just make sure it has a larger crank, ie 52t upwards, and a casette at the back with an 11-30 or 34.  That will give you adequate range.  But if you need to climb hills, then you'll want a second chainring.  I've learnt the hard way, my first foldie had 48t at the front and 12-34 at the back, completely useless.....can't climb, can't speed.  And it did not have a cassette but a free-wheel
which is very limited in options. If you are un-familiar with some of the terms used here, just google. 

I'm still learning, but I'll let you know if what I'm preaching will work for me in a couple of weeks when my bike's ready, lol !!

The foldie I was using before was a Giant Halfway, only 7 speed.... I'm now building a Dahon Vitesse P9 using Shimano 105 parts.  My other bikes are full size road bikes.

Usj online ad too much.. so price oso ++$$$

Using XDS AFB 160 (old model, 8 speed acera). I think components are quite decent, prowheel crankset, tektro brakes, acera shifters. The frame seems solid enough although there's some creaking sounds here and there. Ride it mainly on roads, very light offroads some times. Used to practice some jumps / endo also. Haha. So far so good. I bought mine used at RM600. So for that price, totally no complains.

My take is that if u want a good one, start it out right ...get something more solid according to budget..do easy payment even if u can afford , then it won't be a pain to your budget ...of course stretch to 6 months.

I bought my vigor for 2k ++ but riding it , the ride is quite stiff but very responsive frame to all my cycling and im glad that it doesn't creak or makes any sounds...makes the ride very worthwhile...and man it is very fast.
