how u set ur saddle height?
follow the normal size bike setting in youtube?

if so, my toes will barely touched the ground but the riding motion is comfortable.
then i will have problem mounting and dismounting it.

here what i found :
http://sheldonbrown.com/starting.html

so far i have not practiced his way of mounting
*
Another way how to adjust the saddle height

hey sifus.

need your advice.

should i get a second hand dahon broadwalk d8, a tern c7 or a brand new trinx fa2016?

i understand that broadwalk has 8 gears, the tern has 7, but the trinx has more?

Rode the trinx and i found it good for road leisure cycling.

how about you guys?
*
get trinx

Trinx is a China made brand which mask it's inferiority with better components. That's why the price is attractive. Furthermore it is distributed by a giant distributor here in Malaysia who can practically kill the bicycle market if they want to. Same guys as Exitway. Then it's not that it is so bad, just that if you are not going to ride for long (which many new riders can't confirm or have the willingness to will themselves) it's better to try out a cheaper one. You can get a better one (which you definitely will if you get addicted to a group or rides) once you feel you really like riding.  icon_rolleyes.gif  I have a lady rider, almost 60 years old and she got herself a Tern C7 and after a few rides and enjoyed it so much, she got herself a 6K plus Tyrell for her next bike.  nod.gif

Tyrell is a good mini velo. But she might wanna think again what if tyrell tyre got punctured.

Tyrell tyre wall is not as thick as others. Tiny wire can poke thru easily.

Unless she is ok to fix the puncture herself la.

Tires and bikes are 2 different things. Other bikes other than Tyrells can use the same tires! You can get a Tyrell and still change to Schwalbe or Kendas.  In our group there are 4 Tyrell users and so far there's no punctures among them and in fact we even ride over gravel road in Wetlands Park in Putrajaya. No problems.

Maybe my group cycle to the route has alot of needle, nail, spiky stuff on the road.. lol..

After getting my java fit , which is a excellent cycle...i then saw a Proton T cycle for sale.
Mint condition, full specs, the previous owner only used 5 times.
I bought it and i can its a good bike for the money.
Basically now , i alternate between the Java and Proton.
Always cycle at Putrajaya 2-3 times a week, somehow i find it so refreshing as i cycle along the lake and in the evening sometimes the air can be quite cooling.
These days i have stopped my walks and gym and mostly cycle , perhaps later when i get over the excitement , i will alternative between the 3.
One thing i have learned is enjoy while you can , and if you have the means go for a better cycle.
I have a friend who is wealthy but uses a 6 years old cheap cycle, he says it doesnt bother him and is happy with his choice.
so to each his own and hope that perhaps riders who come to Putrajaya will sort of announce or let me knw so that i may join them at Putrajaya.
wishing everyone a lovely day with all the good health
