See ur budget

I think rodalink is having off the season discount.

I bought one from rodalink batu kawa kch n get it shipped to miri for free via bus express.
They issued a discount n automatically rodalink membership.

If possible, test drive ur foldie

first time i see it is blue...

I was told there were two colour, slate (blue) or white (dr.hon version, white).

I received a cd for service n manual instruction, some stickers, small bottle of paint to cover marks n scratches.

For the Boardwalk, apart from the parts mentioned before this, you have to change the whole crank and chainring as the original one on Boardwalk is fixed (cannot add another chainring).  icon_rolleyes.gif Here's the picture of my wife's Boardwalk  thumbup.gif

What dahon is that?
Boardwalk D8 has one lever for folding and one lever to adjust the height.
I open the height adjuster, adjust it nicely n tighten the nut before locking.

how u set ur saddle height?
follow the normal size bike setting in youtube?

if so, my toes will barely touched the ground but the riding motion is comfortable.
then i will have problem mounting and dismounting it.

here what i found :
http://sheldonbrown.com/starting.html

so far i have not practiced his way of mounting

i will be scared. i have yet to cycle along the traffic...
*
if not confident dont do it.
get some one who is experienced riding in the traffic.
they can guide u through.

other than helmet, i think u should blinker light for both rear and front.
this will make u more visible to other motorist

if ur bike squeak, try to describe how and where.
others may have some ideas

hey sifus.

need your advice.

should i get a second hand dahon broadwalk d8, a tern c7 or a brand new trinx fa2016?

i understand that broadwalk has 8 gears, the tern has 7, but the trinx has more?

Rode the trinx and i found it good for road leisure cycling.

how about you guys?
*
Is dat dahon boardwalk advertised in mudah.com.my?
Very goood price.
I own one n it's cromoly, so far no problem cos it's still new.

There is a guy who want to sell his tern link C7 that he won from a lucky draw. Maybe can nego more. I dun remember his nickname though.

Dahon is like samsung, well know brand. Yearly models n too many models.
Tern is like a new company that focus less on yearly products n more to customers oriented service. The founder can be found interacting with the customers in their forum at their website.

Trinx i am not sure, another clone?

Is it normal to have paint peeling at the inside fold hinge?
The hinge is medium hard to fold but not hard to open the latch.

In this forum.

How tight the hinge should be?
Tern has a video in youtube on how tight the latch should be n teach how to adjust it.
