If only everyone has the same mentality, we might even see Xbox being launched here officially. smile.gif

Then again, the lure from the dark side is strong indeed.

your friend is playing using the modded one? or the original one?

What about the modded one,guys?

From what I've heard so far, 3ROD's a mean son of a b*tch. He kills everyone. It doesn't matter whether you're modded or not, he will hunt the greenies and kill em.

At the risk of sounding stupid (I'm a noobie anyways), how do you turn off the controller immediately without turning off the console? It's interfering with my wireless mouse...

EDIT: Bleh, found it. Press and hold the X button, shut down controller.

Guys one simple noob question here, how to activate the XBL Gold trial (1 month) with new console?
*
They will only give you the free 1 month trial if you sign up directly from the console.

I tried signed up online, then recover the gamertag from the xbox, but they won't prompt you with the free offer.

How much is one 360 core/basic model out there now? I'm ready to buy one! Also, can you guys please recommend to me the cheapest shop selling it with no compromise of whatsoever negatives.

Thanks

For around 300 extra, I think it's better for you to get the premium. A lot of games do use the HDD for caching.

For some reason, 720p and 1080p does not change the size of text for me. I'm on a 24 incher.

Are there any games that's being rendered 1080p natively right now?

We don't comment on rumors and speculations.

That's what they will say. smile.gif Do you think they will release it in the Australia first? Doesn't make any sense right?

Correct me if I'm wrong but for VGA, it's not possible to display 1080i right?

What I meant was, you can't select 1080i if you're connected via VGA. All I see is the resolution, 1920x1080, 1280x720, etc.

So if I were to select 1920, does that mean I'm on 1080p?

As long as you didn't turn it up when there's liquid inside, you should be OK.

To be safe though, it's better if you open up the console and clean it up.

Orange juice + Xbox = Icky sticky Xbox. smile.gif

Depending on which feature you need.

For the plug and charge, you can charge while using the controller (with the additional cable of course)

As for the rechargeable pack, you have to remove the batteries in order to charge.

I'm still using some third party chargers with tons of batteries. Works fine over here. smile.gif

Your address on the Xbox doesn't matter. Just make sure the town and postcode is correct.

How's the performance like for the Aztech Homeplug? It's pretty cheap right?

One question to ask,if watch DVD's on xbox 360 would the image of the movie improve/upscale?
*
Last time I checked, it will only upscale via VGA connections. Maybe people with component can verify this.

Next time when I get my 360, I am planning to go Wifi with it. Is anyone here using the Wireless Networking adapter? Anyone can give a small review of how reliable this unit is for example experiencing connection lost, etc?
Thanks.

It works pretty well for what it's supposed to do. A friend of mine is using it, and the xbox is not exactly near to his router. As for streaming contents, no problems there.

I find it a bit too expensive though. smile.gif

Some games do come with 48 hours live coupons. Pretty useless really.
