this is really good,deserves a sticky...hmm,too me i think VGA looks better than component,component might look a little too sharp.

Hopefully this will keep the noobs away from asking the same questions over and over again.

of course component,but if u have a plasma with a VGA input,i reccomend u use that as it is not too sharp but still very neat,on my personal lcd i use component on the plasma i use VGA.

HDMI isnt really important for PS3,HDCP will only be important in 2010,definitely 2012...so u could still buy the low end models.

XBOX 360 HD-DVD add on is a must though,even though it doesnt have an HDMI port,just 3 usb ports below it...microsoft says they dont need it because(see above).
