your gamertag is not linked to your console. when you connect to xbox live, you can just log in using your existing gamertag. hope that helps.
shamsul,what terra said is right but lemme add some more....... when u buy new xbox360, go to Sign In > recover GT and then just follow the instruction ... do remember which email address and password u used when u register the GT that u want to recover.... hope this help
