i do have a curious trivia question - to all those who own games from different regions NTSC/J jp, NTSC/J Asian, NTSC/UC and PAL - do all dvd covers says "Made in Singapore" at the back cover? just curious ......

i dont think a 65-nm Xbox 360 CPU nxt yr will automatically means a more reliable system. a few theories have linked the error 0102 (3ROL) to solders/GPU/etc.

someone else pls confirm, but IIRC, jpn set box has jpn text description. asian set box should have english/chinese texts. someone said u can see the xbox360 birthdate on the back of the box. all the best with ur shopping~


yes, xbox360 sets sold in HK, TWN, SG (not sure abt Korea) are designated NTSC/J Asian sets. u can buy this locally from djinn or get it at SG.

if Mr A is dead set on enjoying his pirated goods, surely playing "cat & mouse" with all those banning/bricking/countermeasures is not a problem

gamesaves not working? care to elaborate more? that's weird - normally only paid DLC don't work on another 360 in offline mode.

gamesaves are linked to a gamerprofile. it should work when you sign-in with the correct profile.

but note, the games are still region-locked.
for example, if u want to play Marvel vs. Capcom 2 or Guilty Gear X2 #Reload, u'll need the NTSC/J versions. those US versions on ebay won't work unless that specific game was region-free.

also note: half-life2 xbox US version works on our NTSC/J Asians sets

Burnout is an EA game, so it's most probably region-locked.

i think XBOX 360 Asia cannot play Burnout 3 Takedown NTSC/U (original or otherwise). play in on the xbox instead

xbox1 & xbox360 Asian region code is NTSC/J
xbox1 & xbox360 US region code is NTSC/UC or NTSC

if u boot Burnout 3 Takedown NTSC/UC, it will most probably display "wrong region" error message.

if u can find xbox Burnout 3 Takedown NTSC/J, u can play it on xbox360 Asian.

^use the supplied cables/adapter that came with the 360. plug in green-blue-red and set the adapter switch HDTV/SDTV. i think there's a piece of white sticker on the switch.
