but it's advisable you don't buy the rm15 copies, they don't last long and spoil the lens



most of us buy the slightly more expensive copies, they use better grade dvd. plus they use those green color dvd casings so it looks like original so that our police won't catch them.
alot of ppl selling in the forums, it's about rm80 a copy.

Just make sure when you buy, don't ask for 'modded' console. They might give you old stock, which has no official microsoft warranty.

Just ask for the latest unmodded type can edi. That way, you can play 'fake' games and still have 3 years warranty from microsoft.

The only way to avoid 3ROD is to avoid buying those cheaper RM10 pirated games.

This is because they use cheaper media, means the lens and CPU works harder to read and process the data, that's why can overheat and spoil.

As long as you buy those RM80 ones i mentioned, no problem. In fact, some are even cheaper if you look hard enough.

whether you spend on an original game or the highgrade copies sold in the Pasar Malam thread, you need to subscribe to a Gold account to have online multiplayer.

Another good thing bout buying the highgrade rm80 copies is that u can play online.

the RM5 ones that u normally not only gives u RROD, but u can't play online as well. Not only that, they BAN your console.
In other words, you 3 year warranty is void! and you cannot receive software and antivirus updates.

the only main difference with at silver and gold is the online multiplayer.

other than that, gold members are allowed to download new demos first, while silver accounts have to wait 1-2 weeks.

hence now there are name calling between the two account types: the Gold-diggers and the Sillyvers

2nd edit: Don't, I repeat, Do not ask the ppl at the shops about "can play fake/pirated/magical games or not". The Federal Association of Copyrights Unit (FACU) has been trying to catch pirated sellers by having ppl asking them and then catching them red handed. So they won't give you a straight answer. All the info you need can be acquired in these here uber forums. So just go there and buy and run away.
