wat is HDCP...
actually is ok with 1080i but my fren say there is some color lost so now i'm using 720p with my LCD TV
as what whuffy_aniki link is. basically the LCD manufacturer limited the tv to only accept 1080P signal from HDCP compliant connection, ie. HDMI and DVI, and restrict component connection to 1080i/720P for HD. this HDCP thing is headed by Sony, more reason to hate them. actually is ok with 1080i but my fren say there is some color lost so now i'm using 720p with my LCD TV
