You'll have to make the calculations yourself. Assuming:

1. You make RM70k worth of purchases annually, where 100% are Amex, which will earn you roughly 70k miles transferable to Enrich/AM/KF
2. I value Asia Miles and Krisflyer at say RM0.05 per mile, so 70k miles = RM3,500
3. 70k miles will get me a one-way trip to Europe in business class on CX or QR which is worth far more than RM3,500

In this case yes, I would keep the card and pay the RM800. This assumes you don't use any of the golf/dining privileges

this is his first time used for this year.......PPL staff explained to him that VI supp card holder no more free access of PPL expect principle card holder.

maybe they have system to check.
Even one of my fren using MBB Krisflyer card, he already hit quota early of this year.....also informed by PPL staff no more free access last Monday.
