I tried to top up at branch but they say cannot top up. Need to pledge fresh 30k. they also req for income docs. Anyone tried pledging partially share with me d details.

It's the fastest way to earn air miles, fantastic for frequent travellers or people who love travelling.

Not up to you say whether it's 10k or 30k, it's up to the bank.
Why 30k? That's the minimum CL for this card. Some are lucky to just pledge FD by topping up their current limit to make it 30k.

Pledge FD, bank do pay interest, so it's still profitable in a way
worth or not worth is up to personal preferences and not for you to judge.

if 1 can't meet bank's requirement, then he has no choice to pledge if he want the card.

If u wanna know what this card can do best, I have an upcoming ticket for MH KUL-LHR biz class, which cheaper than normal economy ticket.
30k is the minimum limit, u can opt (pledge) for more if u wish.
