Lets say if i pledge fd, what if i uplift the fd? What will happen to the card or there will be any penalty charges?
*
By right your FD cert is with branch, you need to cancel your cc and clear all outstanding before you are allowed to uplift.

i spent oversea at UK with Visa infinite
one transaction £2 cost me RM11.54
and another transaction £4.00 cost me RM23.07

this make the currency exchange at about 5.77.
crossed check at Visa website, http://usa.visa.com/personal/card-benefits...-calculator.jsp

this is approximately 2.25% above the Visa exchange rate..
because i remember bro genxyz said the Maybank Visa Infinite has the best exchange rate among credit card, but i feel 2.25% above exchange rate is rather still high..
*
Try with AR and see if you get better rates

Tried to redeem my points to enrich miles today.
but now onwards, we can only credit the miles to our personal enrich account.
Cant even transfer to our family members.
Anyone have any other suggestion if we want to redeem miles and credit into others enrich account?
*
i dont know if this is worth trying, not the first time we seen the personnel been blur with what can be done and what not. Try calling or walk in to difference centre.

but even if only credited to your Enrich acc, you can still buy air ticket on other's behalf. Unless you want to sell your miles to 3rd party.

So there is a way?

Like I mentioned, I have the cash in hand to buy the car outright. Just prefer swiping to get the points.
*
Bank in the money in advance to your cc account. you will then have +ve balance to swipe?

PPL @ KLIA2 depends on your departure gate and time

P/Q - Spa Wellness (Close 0000 - 0700)

L - Useless and small lounge

Usually I will visit Spa Wellness and if at time of closure i have a simple breakfast @ the 3rd lounge before going through the immigration @ departure hall.

though L gate lounge is small and useless, you can actually sneak drinks on board as you do not need to pass through any security screening. As for P/Q the lounge is before security screening so cannot sneak drinks on board.

Food are average at best but ya, free drink and food (and beer) so no complaint.

whats the easiest way to apply for the cards actually? dont really want to provide documents - but if correct, no more card to card approval right? i have a ancient plat CC with over 40k credit line. if i just apply, attach and tick that i meet the income standards (will surely hit the 80k annual spend also) - will this work?
*
Go to a card center, if you are already been assigned >30k credit limit by Maybank then you can get this without any documents.

Already made a call to Kastam this morning. They said it is wrong for Maybank to charge GST for point redemption. Especially voucher redemption they told me that they can only charge the face value especially vouchers and not including GST. Kastam do not collect points.  Even the person received my call was annoyed. They suggest me to make an official complaint via their website. If you all really want to fight for our right please join in and make complaint. I did my part.

Thanks, will email both authority and Maybank on this.

Reply from MBB by e-mail

We acknowledge receipt of your email and we wish to inform that you will be charged GST if you redeem for a Standard-Rated goods or services. For your information, redemption of enrich is a service provided by Maybank which is classified under Standard Rated services. Therefore, Maybank have to impose GST on the service rendered.

Has anyone been charged GST for any recent conversion? My last conversion dated 1 April was charged 6% GST. I did not realise that it cost me 882,540 TPs to get 185k Enrich Miles. It would have only required 832,500 TPs pre-GST. I called up CS and they confirmed the figures.  vmad.gif

Despite the GST issue, i got lucky with MBB.

Early April i went to 1U to redeem as I've shared. During the visit i show them my VI and instructed to convert all my pts in Premier acc to Enrich Miles.

So I went home and checked my M2U, they only deducted my VI TP while my AR TP remain untouch. I thought maybe they need time to reflect but few days later even after the Enrich Miles were credited to my Enrich acc, the pts in AR remain untouch. (I triple-check, they credited my Enrich acc based on my total TP; both VI and AR combined)

So fast forward 2 weeks, i called the center and asked how much TP i had. They read out my AR TP per M2U. So i request to convert all my TP to EM. Today the extra Enrich Miles show up on my Enrich acc.

So here i am, thank you MBB tongue.gif

Any MBB staff here? please don't report me

On paper 30k.

1. Try to apply for credit limit increase
2. If (1) fail, try apply and see if you get it
3. if still fail, pledge FD 2k only ma
