Then you are lucky enough they even approved your application with your Singapore pay slip.

I know some ppl who earn close to a million per annum who get their pay slip oversea get denied for credit card application in Malaysia. Use it for a few months, show them some fd you hv in Malaysia and request to increase the limit.

Ok. Thanks for the advice. Die die use first loh. Hahaha

Do you have Malaysia income? If not I'm sure you pledged fd to get this card. Credit limit is given by how much you pledged.
*
I also use SGD income payslip and get approved.
Maybank is also my first credit card in my life.

Btw, if overseas income, have to be listed company payslip, or else they will not accept or very conservative on credit limit

Really not make sense at all.

I also using SGD income to apply. Credit limit is SGDx4 at first, increase further when have some usage record with them
For your case, should be 60k RM limit, not sure why only give you 30

Haha im shocked too when i saw the 30K credit limit. So maybank use 1:1 conversion from SGD to RM? Think i'm going to cancel this card and apply UOB VI instead.

Depends what you want this card for and if you will spend more than MYR80k pa for annual fees waiver. This card is the best in the world to date for airmiles conversion to Enrich, Krisflyer, and asiamiles.

U want to share your analysis because I certainly agree that there are cards in SG that can earn better mileage but depends on your spending pattern ... Eg online vs offline vs dining etc.

For SG credit card i only own 3 UOB credit card.

1. UOB PRVI Miles Visa Card
As for now i believe this is one of the best air miles card in SG.
However, its only earn me 1.4 miles for S$1 local spending and 2.4 miles for S$1 overseas spending
After calculation,
1 miles = RM2.143 for local SG spending
1 miles = RM1.25 for overseas spending

Annual fees S$256.80 and have to call for waiver, success rates unknown as this card is still consider new.
No priority pass provided and do not grand you any airport lounge access.

Both local and overseas earn rates are worst than Malaysia 2 card premier Amex reserve.

2. UOB Privilege Banking Visa Infinite
1.2 miles for S$1 local spending
1.6 miles for S$1 overseas spending

This card seriously is a joke, conversion rates are even worst than it own UOB PRVI Miles Visa card.

Annual fees is S$1926 and have to call for waiver
What surprised me is this card does not come with priority pass.

3. UOB ONE CARD

Good rebate card. currently use this card for bill payment card in SG. Most likely this will be the only card i will keep next year.

As air miles conversion, i still believe no any SG credit card come close to Maybank premier 2 card at this moment.

Moreover, miles conversion for UOB card will inccur S$25 admin fees, unless i convert under Privilege Banking Visa Infinite then is FREE while Maybank provide FREE conversion from TP to air miles for every customer include mass market customer.

Bro. Don't limit yourself to only UOB. Start by checking out DBS suites of cards. U will find some interesting earning cards especially now there are many ongoing promotions to allow u to earn even more miles, not withstanding the sign up bonuses. Some cards can earn about 3 to 4 miles per dollar. So effectively that's like RM1 or lesser to a mile (in relative).

Agree on the conversion fees, DBS' conversion is different from uob. U pay one time annual fee and u can convert unlimited times as and when u like it.

study the cards because u may save yourself from the currency exchange fees given the same earning ratios, if not better. YMMV
