i heard many says AM award got limited availability, so i tried myself at AM portal to redeem CX flight, KUL-LHR always says "closed" or waiting list..

My friend is MPC Gold, also be putting into waiting list.

May I know you got OW Sapphire through Malaysia Airlines or other OW carriers? My understanding is that I could use my Enrich Gold to enter CX Lounge in KLIA so long as I am flying with any OW alliances? Is it really true?

I hate the Golden Lounge, think it is overrated, crowded and the washrooms are really world class 

oic, AA was 67.5k miles one-way between US and Asia in F.. next year going up to 110k per way..
no wonder all those AA customer make noise..

Fact of the matter is, most people today earn their miles through credit card spend and not actual flying. Sure it would be nice to have elite status and get sucked up to by the pretty FAs but flying on award tickets most of the time earns us nothing. Still, so long as we get lounge access with the J and F awards, nothing much to complain about really. Would be nice to have those fancy baggage tags though I suppose.

The good/ bad thing about MH is their inconsistency, my friend redeemed a Business Class ticket with EM and they still credit EM into her account despite it's a reward ticket. As a result, she got upgraded immediately to Enrich Silver

As I know, miles exchange from credit card does not count as Elite miles and therefore useless on status upgrade, any trick to use the miles exchange from credit card to upgrade the status? eg Enrich silver, krisflyer silver MPO silver
