There are many ways.. just make sure your actions come from your true heart enough already. You wouldn't know how much difference it make by saying a simple "hi, had your lunch?" Or MSN at night... "how's your day today? miss me?" make.

Ofcoz, your gf will feel insecure coz you're so far away. But make sure you always remind her that she's still in your life. smile.gif

Maybe... sometimes honey forget our anniversary too. All you have to do is give some hint. It's not about hoping for your other half to remember your birthday or anniversary etc.

I have a friend who cannot manage dates. Always forget special dates. So his gf will keep on reminding him starting a week before their anniversary. Dear ar.. 6 more days to our anniversary.. then dear ar.. 5 more days.. etc.. Then he will remember. biggrin.gif

Remember, relationship only work if you understand each other and try to fill in each others demerits. Not about hoping for your other half to change. You compromise, don't hope.
