GF just returned to US yesterday to resume her studies. She was here for 3 months on summer holidays.

^^be strong. how long does she still needs to be there? time flies fast if we didnt wait. hope you can understand what i'm trying to say.

Probably 2 more years, maybe more if she plans to work there for a while.

Dont worry about me miyoko, I'm used to it. We've been like this for the past 2 years, although we're coming to our 5th anniversary together end of this year.

Thanks *sniff*

She called earlier when she arrived, and said she missed me.

I wish I could be there to hold her. cry.gif

recipe for a lasting long-distance relationship:

1. be spontaneous
2. have faith and trust in each other
3. be patient. extremely.
4. decrease the level of jealousy and paranoia.

those are what i can think of right now.

cheers!

At least you're honest with yourself.

Hey LDR isn't for everyone, that's for sure.

You mean death trap?

Why so negative about LDRs? It's workable, if only both parties are really committed to it and each other.

Mine's been going on for more than 2 years now (although I've been with my gf for almost 5), and we're still pretty much in love.
