Hey all,

Ok. I am thinking of making a move for this girl that I just met 2 days ago. I'd like to take it slow but then.. she's moving back to her hometown in like 2 plus months. Wondering if anyone have any advice?

She's a year older than me. I don't know if she has a bf or not but on the day that I met her, we were at the mall and we were alone but I felt that we totally hit it off. She gave me her msn at the end and asked me to add her. She said thanks for the company. I asked for her phone number and she gave it to me.

However, our MSN conversations haven't gone that well and I've tried calling her 2 times but didn't manage to get her. I smsed her couple of times too but no reply. Dunno how to approach her without being annoying. Any thoughts?

Just take it steady, be a friend only. I think she may not reciprocate well if you're hitting on her in the knowledge she'll be moving away soon. Take it steady, get her to know you better and don't hope for too much.

Yeah trying to be friend only. Well just trying to get to know her better..not hoping too much. Kinda looking beyond after she moved back then see how. Maybe I will fly there to visit her.

Right now got no chance to talk to her also. Should I ask her out for a movie? Or a drink? I'd probably need to have a group going or else she might not go but the prob is there's no group.

Go for it, as long as you make it clear you're just going as friends. Then she'll be more comfortable around you. Who knows, after getting to know you as a good friend, she may develop an interest in you...

Going to call her maybe tomorrow or day after and just say ask if she interested to go see a movie or something. (Already tried calling, MSNing, smsing and no replies so i don't wanna keep doing it) Maybe have dinner first? Hmmm. I feel like a newbie all over again. She's always on my mind right now. argh!! can't work or do anything properly. i need an outlet.

Play it cool. Even if she's not attracted to you (yet), she'll appreciate it more if you just be yourself and don't rush things. Her attraction may well develop over time.

Remember, you're just a friend. Charm her first without making any moves on her. Once she starts responding correctly, slowly move in for the kill.

Miri, got one place got nice sambal mee. Near the 2020 cafe there. Next to Toy's World. And there's a nice taiwanese restaurant which I forgot the name.

got sambal mee? never heard before le. nice eat a.... lots of places lo. depends on what u like. early morning at 2020 and grand palace got dim sum. lunch can go eat 'bak kut teh'(usually my lunch very simple), nite can go pong cafe, the tice wahlao eat till can vomit so much, ocean, sea food restaurant, very expensive but very nice, new hai yeng cafe, where u eat cheap crabs and sea food, limited choices though, as usual got coffee bean, al fresco, leez all selling cheese cakes and coffee.

special ones u can try miri dry noodles. sth like kuching kolok mee and sibu kampua but different.

supper can go pelita, pewira, A1 and if you can wait, wait till 3 am like that go lutong. all the noodles and wantan there rm1 per plate. not reli a lot but very worth it. then wednesday ladies nite lo, fri beer drinking competition if u are clubbers la.


forgot one place. tom yam at boot camp just beside cherrie berries. if u order extra hot ones. wa reli can climb wall they say. never eat before though...
