Oversupply will not be evident when the bubble is still growing / haven't pop yet.
Guess counting the lights is a good gauge to determine actual demand vs speculative demand. |

A 5 years java experience resource can be hired for rm2k++ in chennai while in malaysia, it will costs about rm5k++ for the same resource. Unless there is a huge growth of local IT projects, i doubt it will happen. |

Cyberjaya Positive Strength;
Cyberjaya City Center MRT - Expect to complete by 2022 Cyberjaya Hospital - Expect to complete by 2020 (Smart Hospital) Awarded to Gadang Holdings on 4 August 2017. Unlimited 1 Gbps broadband for Cyberjaya Residence for RM399 Regional Fintech Hub - JV between Setia Haruman & Beijing base IT Giant. I believe with the potential. Hold for good few years until maturity around 2025-2030, Cyberjaya investors will be laughing to the Casino. 😎😍 This post has been edited by Syamnizar: Aug 12 2017, 04:21 AM |

How much price increase is contributed by hospital? Some it consultant like to joke one can't get 3g signal in certain areas in cbj. short term Investors don't come la... want quick money go elsewhere and try your luck.
Let other ppl who will consider Cbj their home to purchase here. Fast or slow growth, cbj will turn out to be different than other town, so u need to find out if u like it. Not going to argue too since there's always negative comments around on whatever ppl say. Just go find out yourself. |

11 projek dan inisiatif jadikan Cyberjaya model bandar pintar
Hilal Azmi, Astro Awani | Diterbitkan pada Mei 31, 2017 22:10 MYT CYBERJAYA: Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Razak hari ini mengumumkan 11 projek dan inisiatif utama dalam usaha menjadikan Cyberjaya model Bandar Pintar. Projek dan inisiatif itu merangkumi pembangunan Cyberjaya City Centre, Cyberjaya Innovation Fund for the Future (CIFF), penubuhan Hab Serantau Teknologi Kewangan (fintech), Cyberjaya Futurise Centre, dan pembangunan Bandar Keusahawanan Lautan Biru (BOET). Inisiatif lain termasuk pelancaran Pusat Big Data Asia, pelaburan Pusat Data Lembah Klang (KVDC), kemudahan internet berkelajuan tinggi, Hospital Cyberjaya, Sensor Applications Innovation Centre (SONIC) serta pengembangan pusat data CBJ4Annex, katanya. Cyberjaya a model for Smart City developments
By Digital News Asia | June 01, 2017 ELEVEN major announcements, including the establishment of an R&D and Innovation hub as well as a regional centre for big data, were announced on May 31 as Cyberjaya celebrated its 20th anniversary, in a ceremony witnessed by Prime Minister Najib Razak. The announcements; which include brand new projects, investments and funds, aim to catalyse strategic collaborations and accelerate Cyberjaya’s transformation into a global technology hub. “In the space of 20 years, Cyberjaya has undergone a remarkable transformation; from an IT Hub under the Multimedia Super Corridor into a Global Tech Hub and critical contributor to Malaysia’s digital economy. “Indeed, the city has gone from strength to strength over the years; in 2016 Malaysia’s MSC Malaysia status companies generating more than RM12.5 billion in revenue, an increase of 28% from previous year. This contribution comes hand in hand with the city’s attractiveness as a base for innovations; with 40% of its population being high-value knowledge workers and housing 60% of Malaysia’s data centres amongst many other milestones achieved,” said Najib. “Looking ahead, we have made decisive strides to push Malaysia into the digital economy – pursuant with goals laid out in our National Transformation 2050 (TN50) vision. As a model for Smart City developments nationwide – now further spurred by the announcements made today – I am fully confident in Cyberjaya’s potential to contribute significantly to these goals,” added Najib. Taking centre stage amongst the slew of announcements was the launch of the Futurise Centre, a joint-venture project between Cyberview Sdn Bhd and the Malaysian Global Creativity & Innovation Centre (MaGIC). Positioned as a hub for corporations, universities and entrepreneurs to converge and develop future innovations, the centre will house research universities the likes of Multimedia University and Tsinghua University. Also to be housed in the Centre are innovation outfits such as Microsoft HoloLens and AI Lab, and United Nations Technology Innovation Lab (UNTIL). UNTIL will bring together UN personnel, academia, governments, start-up companies and established tech giants to develop innovative solutions for global challenges such as smart cities, sustainable tourism or ethical fashion. Other significant investments announced include those by Winhong Information Technology Corporation as well as the Barrington Group Co Ltd and Beijing Fullrich Information Technology Co Ltd. Winhong will invest a projected RM100 million over five years in its Asia Big Data centre which will also provide up to 500 high value jobs. The Barrington Group and Beijing Fullrich’s Regional Fintech Hub on the other hand is expected to invest RM60 million over the next five years. In addition to contributing towards China’s ‘Belt and Road’ policy, the Fintech Hub aims to create 300 jobs; supporting up to 3.2 billion transactions (equivalent to nearly RM80 billion in transactional value) in the fifth year. Another key highlight was the announcement of the Cyberjaya Innovation Fund for the Future. With a commitment of RM100 million by the Ministry of Finance; to be disbursed by Cyberview Sdn Bhd over the next 10 years beginning 2018, the fund will be channelled through a co-investment model for innovation and smart city related projects located in Cyberjaya and driven either by local or foreign partners. “Today’s announcements represent precisely the sort of growth that we’ve been aiming for; as the city gears up to play its part in propelling the nation towards achieving goals expressed in Transformasi Nasional 2050. “Above everything else, our activities here are rooted in a culture of openness and collaboration. It gives us great pride to see all these great initiatives arising from the foundations of the innovation ecosystem we have put in place and we look towards the Cyberjaya Innovation Fund for the Future to be a catalyst for further such collaborations,” said Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah, Secretary General of Treasury, Ministry of Finance. Irwan is also the chairman of Cyberview. “As the tech hub enabler tasked with driving Cyberjaya’s continued transformation into a Global Tech Hub, our work revolves around developing a holistic ecosystem that allows innovation to thrive. We look forward to further strengthening Cyberjaya’s offerings as a sandbox and playground for people to take innovative technology ideas from concepts and start-ups and grow them into businesses capable of competing in the global scene,” added Cyberview managing director Faris Yahaya. Another convention centre will be at CCC. Over supply or not let market force to determine. The owner earn or burnt their own money. Outsiders no point KPKB.

oversupply or not depend on the area activity.
Example, Seksyen 13 Shah Alam, so many development but never oversupply and demand still very strong. So in coming 3 years, Cyberjaya also need some place for more student and hospital staff, demand is gradually increase. |

QUOTE(jetwash @ Sep 27 2017, 08:27 AM) Which? The mosque or the school?The mosque is almost ready and will handover before end of year. It's not that big, but not bad to cater for Masreca and the surroundings. From the cadangan I also saw dialysis center in the mosque, not sure if they will deliver together or in later stage. As for the school, no idea when they will build. There are many lands allocated for school around Cyberjaya. Anyway for muslims, brainy bunch also will open their international school just nearby. Should be operating next year as construction looks like almost complete. |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 27 2017, 11:56 AM) Haih no need to stir religious sensitivities here. Can go to kopitiam for that.I'm a muslim myself and I was just asking because a religious primary school is long overdue for the Malay Muslim community in Cyberjaya. Having said that I do agree with the noise pollution to some extent. E.g. there is no religious basis to blast off 'ceramah agama' or Quran recitations in the wee hours of the morning. |
