QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Feb 20 2014, 08:14 AM) From the looks at the QFR gallery, it seems to be standard if my eyes didn't play with me. Reading from one of the posted article here explains that a standard should have something like this for the bottom row. The QFR has a standard layout, it is not the case with some other CM models.

QUOTE(dadudeneverabides @ Feb 24 2014, 12:42 PM) I put a lot of autoexec stuff in the function rows. Like press F3, straight away finish current delivery then go back and send my stuff. Also got rune-check configs... and I use 123 for items, so can't change the keys there. I also use ~ for hero select, so I can't use that either... Then use a 75% or TKL. No one forcing you to use 60%. I prefer separate esc and tilde keys without having to use fn.

QUOTE(eddydo @ Mar 5 2014, 05:56 PM) seems like white keycap doesn't fit my fingers, keycap gets dirty very fast Now theres a reason why grey and now black is the default colour.

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Mar 5 2014, 09:39 PM) ...... And so this is my impression on my very first MKB, nice? Definitely, but bottoming it out is not so nice, so typing fast is still not my cup of tea, probably will scare the hell of those around me. Btw I heard/saw that by putting some O-ring will minimize the bottoming out effects, is it true? Kind to shed some lights to this beginner? The o-ring mod can only dampen the sound when bottoming out. Theres still noise from the rebound action where the stem hits the switch housing. Theres thin o-rings which don't shorten the travel too much (or thicker ones which do), and hard o-rings which give a firmer feel at the bottom (or softer ones which give more of a rubber dome feel). You can also make your own from cutting latex rubber bands/tubing from the hardware/aquarium shop thinly using a razer blade depending on whether the material is hard/soft enough for you.

QUOTE(ntw @ Mar 13 2014, 12:31 AM) anybody else bought Keycool mkb before? please share your thoughts n most importantly how u got it I've got the keycool 87 from taobao. You buy things through taobao from an agent. Find one from the classifieds subforum and get a quote. The first one tried to scam me by adding extra charges for shipping even though the taobao website said nationwide (China) shipping was free and his nick starts with "c". Mkb is considered an electronic item and you will need to pay sensitive handling fee of RM25 on top of the normal fee. Agents will not take responsibility if items are lost/stolen during shipping(all of them, its in the terms of service) and the warranty is practically useless since you have to ship it to China for returns/repairs.
