QUOTE(tekokk @ Mar 14 2014, 12:09 AM) right. would you spent your money to buy a new keyboard with faulty issue? No, I don't. When my keyboard faulty, send to forumer for fix. I pay less for the shipping since I just send the PCB. Why would I buy another keyboard? I'm not a rich guy, I just use Poker II which I mod the LED. Your keyboard expensive than mine. @tekkok, it's kinda true,, if u willing to risk your warranty, look for forumers help u troubleshoot the kb, or change LED.. it'll be quick and easy... if go RMA route, it's not gonna be fast... If u were in Kuching and i had LEDs, i'd personally change it for u if u were willing to void warranty..
anyway.. this is open so... have a look? https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/3160577 |

QUOTE(quovadis123 @ Mar 14 2014, 12:16 AM) In a keyboard, the lifecycle of LED is much much much shorter than the switches itself. I really dont mind about the LED lifecycle that much; cause I knew about it already. We must know this drawback, I still can accept the issue where LED is faulty because the life of LED is short. Ducky is a quality keyboard, IMHO. All that I care that the LED ran out before I use it, now that's sad. |

Sorry again for newbie question.
As I am thinking to change my oily ABS keycaps, may I know where should I grab the PBT keycaps? And the price range? Currently using Ducky Shine 3 TKL. |

QUOTE(Jounouchi @ Mar 14 2014, 11:08 AM) Sorry again for newbie question. 104 keys are priced at RM 140 to RM 400, depending on make and quality. As I am thinking to change my oily ABS keycaps, may I know where should I grab the PBT keycaps? And the price range? Currently using Ducky Shine 3 TKL. Doubleshot are the best but they don't show up well for LEDs unless you buy the one with translucent inner material. There's only one set like that in the whole world. |
