Saitek's gaming keyboard is the best in my opinion.not too "extremely" futuristic looking like G15.(Who the hell cares bout the LCD). Clean, cool looking keyboard.N it doesnt look ah beish too.Just love it.

agree about the g15 there.. why the heck would you look down at your keyboard to check your ammo and health?.. that just distracts your attention.. better to have it at the bottom of the screen no?

When you look at the design nicely, it kinda looks like Tranformers. It looks like a toy for a 3 yrs old kid. I'm using diNovo and S 510 now. Those are not gaming keyboards btw.

Nice keyboard.

By the way, can you purchase the keyboard only? Sans the mouse? The mouse they bundled with em looks hideous.

hmm... why gaming keyboard? Just a BELKIN NOSTROMO would be good enough isn't it?

In fact, I find that all these gaming keyboards are purely hype, nothing special.

The fact that placing keys in DVORAK or QWERTY positioning is not ideal for gaming. Z-Board would be a gaming 'board' but not quite a keyboard in nature.

And I expect degree of pressures from the key; imagine keys on the keyboard that response to how deep or how rapid you tap the keys and perform the necessary action on the game? Like say car racing simulation, a key for throttle, another for clutch.

Imagine one finger on 50% of the clutch key while the other on full throttle and another finger braking gradually while drifting? Balancing?

Or games on diffusing bomb? Snipping some wire and moving the bomb to a safe location carefully tapping those keys at 20~25% degree of hardness?

Today I went pc fair an saw a razer tarantula.I notice that we could get finger prints mark all over it very easily since it has a glossy surface. But overall I think it's very cool.

welp, more key strokes at once, more responsive keys....the most important thing, yeah, the hype, i'm a gamer, i'm rich, i have the cash to spend, i got my "pro" equipments, i feel good. cool.gif

i prefer normal keyboards than those weird placement of keys which we cant type/chat in game. i find it ideal for games. car simulation on a keyboard for a gamer? you must be kidding me. buy a racing wheel. hardness is totally pointless for FPS gamers...i only need hyper response(tm) keys plus some macros. the tapping tasks could always be assigned to my mighty copperhead.

btw, the steelkeys looks typical...i wonder if the key will make noise with all springs over each single keys...haha...wonder how much is it. cool idea of changable keys tho... thumbup.gif
