Right now my phone is prompting me to update to Kit Kat, but I dont want to update yet (because I read still got some issues not yet resolved, like wifi issues etc). I keep delaying the update by pressing cancel. If I dont update to Kit Kat, and the next version appear, can I skip Kit Kat update and install the next version? Or do I need to install Kit Kat first before I can install the next version?

Do you guys get the job sheet (the form they fill up when u send in for repair, walk-in) marked with remark "dent" even your phone outlook is perfectly fine without any drop before? Mine marked with dent, even there is not a single/small dent at all, maybe a few really small hairline scratches due to wear n tear, sense something fishy, maybe they want to cover upfront for the potential poor workmanship.

Hi guys, my HTC one is currently suffered the purple tint issue while taking photo under low light environment. As far I read the post, it seems like I'm not the only one who suffered this. May I know by sending to HTC for repair, will it resolve the issue? Cause having purple tint is really annoying.... Can someone enlighten me? notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

You can skip of course and direct install the new OS but will the HTC ONE getting a new OS after KitKat? By the way, your set is perfect, right? Some forummers mentioned before that after the update, their set got the purple tint issues... hmm...

yea confirmed. i charged till 100% then i unplug den only i turn off one. purposely jus to try coz it happen for few times d.
off phone should not consumed more than 10% battery rite
*
but for my experience, it do will drops around 6% when i restart my phone.
If unplug and plugged it back, it also will drop around 4%

i think it is caused by the charging bug. after restarted, charged full, plug and unplug until it gets 99% then only i will stop charging. And the battery life is really a huge different after doing it.

Thinking of upgrading to M8 too, just hope that M8 don't have known issue like M7, kinda annoying.

don't know , how ever confirm cost you 700 or more because my colleague want to change screen crack, it cost 700 for changing whole housing. default HTC ONE housing they used strong glue to stick it tightly, if you dissemble it, the housing no long re-usable. so need replace new one.
