It has been 2 weeks since I last sent my device to HTC for warranty. And after numerous calls, my device is still in "Diagnosis" status even though I have told them specifically it is the purple tint issue! mad.gif This is totally unacceptable and by far the worst CS I have encountered! Would think twice and thrice before buying HTC in the future!

did you unplug it immediately after it reach 100%?

try charging it till 100% for longer period... ( say extra 30 minutes)

the battery drain issue you stated is due to android bug... nothing to do with HTC

Solved. I have to changed the hotspot name, as the initial name is same as my htc one x's hotspot.

I waited 1 month for mine...since It's the only service center in Malaysia, plus the purple tint issue is very extensive. So kindly do have patience. Getting angry over this really would not help solve anything. For your information htc will never publicly admit the purple camera defect is a hardware defect. In fact, in my repair details, it didn't even mention changing the camera module, it just said customer complained of camera tinting and testing discovered no issues. But they definitely changed my camera module when I checked it in es file Explorer.

Been using mine for 2 months so far no issues, and I have purposefully made my device hot to test for the issue but so far it's working great. For those that experience recurrence of the purple tinting they most probably got the same faulty camera module with badly designed heat shielding, but those cases are mostly from mid last year up till October and I suspect due to supply issues for the good camera modules.

i believe it is android bug.. turn off 'fast boot', turn off your phone and leave for 5 secs then turn on again.. my friend's note 3 also having this problem..

I seriously believe that they do not have a proper system there (FIFO) Mine was picked up on 14/03 and they called me last friday that my purple tint issue HTC will be sent back tomorrow. Fingers crossed that they can do a simple thing such as sending it back rolleyes.gif

mine enter the service center for 1 month already due to GPS malfunction. Cannot lock the GPS. Suprisingly no one here encounter such problem. When i was there, another guy have the same problem like mine.

hi TS. im a owner also. mine is 32GB silver. same like other owners, mine also got purple haze camera. i thought to sent to center. but i know for sure kena tahan 1 month+. so i stick with this phone. its a great phone so far for me. at least im still happy using it. im not a camera man actually.
