Dont think HTC one got high 2nd hand value....

Purple tint really make this phone looks stupid .. haiz

one user reported about a week back the latest gold model also suffers this purple tint issue...but he didn't post any shots to proof his claim

Is it normal for my phone to have battery drain like this?
I fully charged it at night around 1,then i turned it off. Morning i turn off battery left 85%.

Got my phone replaced at directd . one to one exchange.
January 2014 set. No purple tint issue. *touchwood*

how u get 1to1 replace? within 2 weeks?

also what color yr htc?

try turn on 3G or games to heat it ...
then try again ...
Purple tinted normally happen during this phone in higher temp...

My phone is only 2 days old. Silver
Having camera and touchscreen issues hence they replaced it for me.

Just wait a month or two, people will report all sort of problem in XDA.

Hye.i bought a 2nd hand htc one 3 weeks ago.and i dont have a warranty card.there are some issues with this pbone.1st.purple camera issue,2nd loose power button and third battery performance.can i sent this phone to service centre so that they can fix this problem without a warranty card?fyi,i had an online chat with the htc and he said my phone still undef warranty.i need your help.

since you already checked with htc that your set is still under warranty, just bring the set to HTC Service Center and get it rectify. Warranty card not needed as they already got the IMEI no. registered in their system for the warranty validity...

but be prepare to wait a very long period... lousy crappy HTC Service...

I just got my silver htc one from directd yesterday. So far so good, Jan '14 batch.

One thing, i'm having problem sharing wifi hotspot with my laptop. My laptop just couldnt connect. Is there any setting that i have to make?

NO need to do any settings - it will connect automatically just like any other Android phones..check your password especially did you accidentally CAPS lock on ??

i never knew htc msia have online chat ...urs is local set or oversea set....high chance its oversea set ...call htc msia to verify ur set...no receipt no warranty

NO Need to show proof of purchase -- they identify your warranty status from serial number..I have been to HTC center twice and I never need to show receipt

I cannot even enter the password, as my laptop couldnt get connected with wifi. I seen on "advanced" tab there's setting on IP address. That can be as it is right?

I just got mine replaced at directd. Jan 2014 batch. 2 days back they sold me a August batch that had touchscreen and camera problems. Future buyers do take note.

Regarding the hotspot, go to settings, more, mobile network sharing, then press the middle part of the mobile network sharing to enter to the settings page.
