Yes, I've searched. Nuthin'.
I've just recently started actually attempting to use a Samsung Galaxy Camera EK-GC100, which has been just sitting around without seeing much sunshine, finally I had a reason to use it. This reason which I shall call "Skype".
With the genius that I am, I went and bought a micro HDMI cable to fit the camera, which works wonderfully. The displays were perfect on the TV. Video streaming like a media player (I was bored, subtitles won't show on tv, but can be seen from the camera screen), browsing the internet (big screen easier to see), and also testing the camera function, everything was displayed perfectly on the TV and on the screen of the EK-GC100.
My problem is this: With the use of Skype, the camera picks up images from my side pretty well, some even said it looked HD. While connected to the TV via the micro HDMI cable, what is shown on the large screen (my tv) is from my own camera, and not the image of the other party. The image of the other party is only displayed on the tiny screen behind the camera.
Now, I can see the other person's face when: I turn off video on my side. (The other person wont see me though)
Knowing that the camera is on the other side of the screen, it is impossible for me to see the other person while having the camera pointed at me without the aid of a flat and reflective surface.
And the way it is configured, since the EK-GC100 only has one camera, and Skype mobile doesn't seem to allow me to change what is displayed on which screen, I am in a stump.
Any ideas?
Bad samsung. Bad bad samsung!
