Riger DB102 is a piece of crap modem. If TM want to give you this modem, say bye bye. Insist to change to another modem because there are million of problem with this modem.

Streamyx helpdesk support is almost useless. Lack of technical knowledge. Don't even know the basic of network. You can test them. Maybe by asking simple question. Can you give me the names of 7 OSI layer?

Better speak with Advance Troubleshooting Team (ATS). They have better experience and knowledge.

Need help here. Has anyone face this problem??

I just get streamyx package installed. It is running fine on my laptop, but not on my desktop.

Problem: Desktop pc cannot communicate to 192.168.1.1 (modem Riger DB102). Have searched the internet and tried to copy setting from my laptop to the desktop but still cannot. I have tried:

1. 192.168.0.1
2. https://192.168.1.1
3. Turn off anti virus, minimize startup program.
... and many other thing but still cannot connect to the modem. I am suspecting some software ( windows or something else) that preventing the auto setting of IP address.

To all the sifu out there pls help me.

FYI, prior to this  I am using maxis wless bband via ZTE MF600. Could the previous setting interfere with the streamyx??

1. Is there any personal firewall inside your desktop?
2. Can you disable them and try again including windows firewall?
3. You’ve sent 100 packets and all of them have been reply back to your desktop. I presume that your ping testing should be ok. Actually, normal ping should be enough for this case.
4. Can you do normal ping to gateway, ping 192.168.1.1 and paste the full output here
5. What was the error message when you connect to
http://192.168.1.1
https://192.168.1.1
from your internet browser
6. Can you take a screenshot and share it here
