Hi, I was wondering if theres anyone able to help me out on the riger db102 modem/router.

I have this riger db102 modem/router which I would like to disable the router feature and set it to manual dialing to work with a belkin wireless router. So belkin will be sending command to dial in the modem. The problem is, I've disabled bridge and dhcp and still not working, was wondering if anyone could help me out.
*
i think you should enable the brigde mode,
not to disable the bridge mode...
ok bro??

benison

juz press the reset button at the back of the modem
then it will bring you back to 'bridging and routing' mode which need to dial

btw, why my connection lag like hell when in routing mode??
*
some kind of modem will make problem if using router mode,
like linksys am300,

so depends to the model of modem and the firmware,
and also the hardware inside.

hi guys / gals, need some help here. my DB 102 setting somehow got completely erased after i reset the modem.
the HOME page shows no WAN interface detected, so i checked on the ATM VC and there is only one aal5-0 VCI=16. so i add aal5-1 VCI=35 to go online.
the problem is : i dont know bout the other settings, NAT translations, etc. does anyone happens to have the complete stock settings for DB 102 ? thanks.

btw, called and emailed TM custcare last week already.
*
how u reset the button??
and how do you know that u can't reset it?
some modem need to wait while press button about 10 seconds

if you want to use your modem to be pppoe mode, just set it back,
insert the username and password
vpi=0
vci=35

enable nat
enable dhcp server.

Just a word of caution, don't ever reboot the modem with clear settings. It'll brick your modem
*
what you means by 'clear settings'??

I have a question:

Is DB102 a modem only or a modem/router?

In other words, if I have more than 1 PC do i need 2 buy a switch only or a router & a switch?
*
no,i think this modem can convert to router mode,so u need to find switch to connect it for two computers,
and make the modem to be on router mode,

hi there...

Could anyone tell me..can this modem support more than 5 user in same time..
coz mine really pure when more then 5 user go online in the same time...
is it about configuration or wut...
*
so u need to buy switch with 5ports or more ports to support for 5 users,
and your modem should be in router mode(pppoe mode)

just for example..

QUOTE(leadaxer @ May 26 2007, 09:48 PM)
Hi guys, i just subscribed to streamyx few days ago using the "in-a-box" 1Mbps package. I let it run a few days and normal HTTP web surfing is fine and smooth.

Now, I'm trying to do some portforwarding following the step-by-step guide shown in www.portforward.com. However, after i've done all the steps and reboot the modem, results still show that the port has not been forwarded (using utorrent speed guide).

Is there any way to check if the Riger DB102 has been properly port forwarded? Or am i missing any steps?

Thanx.  icon_question.gif

try post here your screen shot of port forward inside the riger modem...
