hihi...

i got this modem too from TMnuts. Setting up is a breeze but connectivity is ermm... vomit. Not sure how this modem suppose to be, but the "link" light on the modem blink quite frequent. Contacted TMnut everyday, according to them if the light blinks means its disconnected. However TMnut agent says its not disconnected n yet my modem "link" light blinks.

My net surfing interupted especially when im downloading big files from my school server. Had to restart all over...

Yes, the Link LED need to be constantly litted without any blinks. When it blink, actually no connection contrary to what your TMn?t agent said. It happened to me too. Have you tried connecting without the ADSL/phone splitter unit installed? Like me, the supplied unit is faulty - just bought one from TESCO and my problem goes away. I can still return it to TMn?t for free replacement but need to wait as the cost on fuel and toll may not justify the need to go to the original issuing TM point centre hmm.gif

On the hand, I having a "stop & go" surfing session whilst using the modem - as if no connection or DC. But the Link LED is not flickering (always on). So, when surfing, need to refresh the web link in order to get updated. Any setting on the DB102 to be fixed as I'm using the default parameters right now?

HOW??

by replace this belkin router wireless with D-Link .. my old d-link, yesterday  night I found it in my storeroom.. luckily I'm not sell it last time ..

my conclusion .. could be belkin router wireless not compatible with this riger modem .. or other ways..

by the way .. I'm using belkin router wireless for quite a years.. and I'm really happy with their support / performance and life time warranty .. 2 times already I replace without any problem ..

I'm using Riger DB102 with my old NetGear WGR614 - no problem.

I advise you to call streamyx fast to check your warranty period. They have that in their database. You can exchange one-to-one if your warranty period is not over.
What if you are so-called "renting" the modem? With modem included package, does this limit apply? If you are renting, TM is so-called forced to oblige to replace faulty modem.

Need to get my reading specs to read the small prints under T&C perhaps.. hehehehehehe

Mine kena as below, 3 lights:
a) Power - red
b) Link - yellow
c) Data - Green

The PC - Green light is not on.

I call them, the company that made the modem, they advise me better buy another brand new modem.

I think the flash/bios is corrupted. If you can flash it, it should be able to work again.

urrgh.. mine is like

Power = red
Link = yellow
Data = no light
PC = green..

I'm connecting the modem to a Netgear wireless router via latter's WLAN port.
