hihi...
i got this modem too from TMnuts. Setting up is a breeze but connectivity is ermm... vomit. Not sure how this modem suppose to be, but the "link" light on the modem blink quite frequent. Contacted TMnut everyday, according to them if the light blinks means its disconnected. However TMnut agent says its not disconnected n yet my modem "link" light blinks.
My net surfing interupted especially when im downloading big files from my school server. Had to restart all over...
Yes, the Link LED need to be constantly litted without any blinks. When it blink, actually no connection contrary to what your TMn?t agent said. It happened to me too. Have you tried connecting without the ADSL/phone splitter unit installed? Like me, the supplied unit is faulty - just bought one from TESCO and my problem goes away. I can still return it to TMn?t for free replacement but need to wait as the cost on fuel and toll may not justify the need to go to the original issuing TM point centre i got this modem too from TMnuts. On the hand, I having a "stop & go" surfing session whilst using the modem - as if no connection or DC. But the Link LED is not flickering (always on). So, when surfing, need to refresh the web link in order to get updated. Any setting on the DB102 to be fixed as I'm using the default parameters right now?
