QUOTE(reeve-826 @ May 25 2014, 04:47 PM) I'm using myvi original tyre, Goodyear 175/, i got to replace tyre soon. Bridgestone or Hankook? Any ideal for below price offer? 175/65R14 Bridgestone RM160 185/60R14 Hankook RM135 Wider tyre but cheaper by RM25? And you still need to consider? QUOTE(chemistry101 @ May 25 2014, 11:46 PM) of course we want the tyre as new as possible, as rubber compound deteriorate by time. there could be something wrong with that unreasonable cheap price. for me I'd avoid it. Rubber compound need time to stabilize, newest tyre not actually is the best. Now tyre already decrease price a lot compare to last year. You'll be paying premium price for same product if still believe tyre price like last time.

Hi guys need ur advise.. looking for new tyres.. stock tyre is CC5 continental.. manufactured 2011.. start using since jan2012... so 3years old.. or on the road 2years 10 months..
Surveyed for
Continental CC5 175/65/r14 Continental CC5 185/60/r14
1st shop price year 2014 tyres
175/60/r14... rm200×4 =800 185/60/r14... rm220x4 =880 (Both Free Aligntment + balancing + valves)
2nd shop year 2013 tyres
175/60/r14... rm180×4 = 720 Free aligntment + balancing Valves rm5x4 = 20+720= 740
3rd shop year 2014 tyres
175/60/r14... rm170×4 =680 Free aligntment+balancing Valves 20+680 = 700
185/60/r14... rm180x4 =720 Free align balancing Valves 20+720... 740
is it looks odd fixing 185 60 for r14 ? Heard looks expand outer.. How about performance and comfortability fixing 185 .
Difference between 185 60 r14 and 175 65 r14...

Difference between 185 60 r14 and 175 65 r14... fixing 185 doesnt make it feel odd.might be less comfort since the tyre profile is lower.where is your location?is it at east malaysia? the price is quite high and also tyre age is old.year 15 to 16 still okay.
