Nitroplus announced on Sunday that in-house writer Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Psycho-Pass, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet) is working on the story for an original television anime project called Aldnoah.Zero this year. He is working again with his Fate/Zero director Ei Aoki (Ga-Rei: Zero, The Garden of Sinners, Hourou Musuko), and A-1 Pictures and TROYCA are jointly producing the anime.

The project's tagline reads, "Let justice be done. Though the heavens fall." The first key visual is debuting at the Shibuya Q's wall display in Tokyo on Sunday, and it will then be at Animate stores nationwide starting February 18. There will also be a stage event on March 22 at 11:40 a.m. at Anime Japan 2014. Aoki will appear at the event, which will announce the main cast.

was hoping for a more epic destruction but maybe 2nd episode will be better. Still I love the bgm towards the end.

the martians' robots reminds me of Gundam 00 Celestial Being where their robots are centuries ahead of the existing mass production robots... just that the protagonist is on the different side good show and nice songs

Ancient myth proof once people live on Mars like wars, but people on reality still want to go to Mars anyway

2nd episode was just okay, people dying, martian robot being too powerful but will lose to mc team later because of . All in all the series just feels bland and finishing the episode didnt make me wanting the next episode.

Kinda one sided episode 2, so it's a bit boring.
Hopefully that will change in episode 3.

great new mecha anime , yay .. too many love anime around and lack of mecha

quite a lot of mecha, almost every season got mecha related animes, just not that much tho

I think the only way to hurt that monster is to bomb the feets. Seeing that is the only spot it needs to maintain physical contact to the ground, it cant possibly have any "absorbing" field.

Ya just noticed that... I gonna like the mech design a lot... Actually a lot of mecha design from VN/LN are quite well-designed... Such as Baldr Sky...

Knowing Sawano, it is possible a same title but different version with different singer. If you notice, the ED was by Mizuki and got [nZk] at the end of Sawano's name. Meanwhile the insert by Mika Kobayashi, which is I believe in German.
