Probably the wind refers to gravitational force greated by the asteroid belt. after all, slaines unit moves like a wind.

i believe the emperor discovered the drive but never fully utilizes its potential. probably, he and his bloodline knows how it's activated. Slaine's dad was the engineer which make full use of the aldnoah system and converts its ability into a war machine. Probably that's the reason why slaine is being kept alive and honor him refuge. I don't think each drive is limited to a single knight. It can register to one. I believe it's powered all the time, because on one of the episode, we saw when a knight dies, its fortress and it's mech powers down.

Oh, I just remembered this. Slaine said this to harklight " I've fired the shots into the region that you've calculated " . Meaning harklight played a role in this too.

Anyway, i rewatched that specific part and it was confusing as hell.
First slaine said he fired that in advance so that the bullets would follow earth's gravity and swing one round around earth to reach that spot. Initially it was suppose to be a trap to defeat inaho,

Then the next sentence was " the trick was to disable saucebomb's dimensional barrier, but i thought if anyone could do it, it would be inaho "

He then go on to say how he can't forgive him for shooting his princess. The second volley of bullets reached and it was rip for sauzbaum.



So which is it? defeat inaho or defeat sauzbaum?

Nah, not really, i think slaine can argue that he set the trap for inaho and that saucebomb would be fine with the dimensional shield.
