Hello guys, I want to buy an Ipad mini + cellular, but I dont want to stick to any contract.
But, how does it work then?
I will then buy any internet prepaid an it will work? How am I able to top up after I finish my quota? Can sms directly from Ipad?

Normally it reloads like normal prepaid phone card. Refer to your specific telco. 3. Apparently NO.

Apparently NO. i remembered there was a program which allows you to open the numpad and type in the codes and it works just like a phone, will top up the credit. but i can't seem to find it anymore in appstore, weird.

iPad mini cannot SMS (who use it anyway) and u can buy from online store without any contract.
For reloading, u have 2 ways.
1. Take out SIM card manually and top it up.
2. Buy a spare cheap phone with another prepaid SIM card and share the reload to the iPad SIM.
After few times, so mah fan, u ended up buying a contract for it.

Or you can top-up online using M2U. I'm thinking of getting cellular but using prepaid too.. The basic Hotlink with free 64kbps sounds perfect.
