Been playing this for over 80 hours. Aside from some issues such as enemy pop-ins, targeting and lack of information when it comes to gathering quests, the game's pretty damn awesome. The feeling when you get the flight pack for your Dolls is amazing. Xenoblade X's world is so big and fun to fly around in.

From my experience, the gameplay's pretty good although end game stuff is very unbalanced as in you either break the game or the game breaks you.

Story wise, I did not like the pacing and the main story very much but I really liked the side stories in the game. It's probably because...


My biggest gripe is there is still no way to sort your equipment in the game after so many months since release. My inventory box is a jumbled mess.

If you're online, you will be automatically be assigned to a random Squad that has a 32 player limit. Your Squad isn't fixed so you can keep joining Squads until you find one that you like.

When in a Squad, everyone will be given 5 monsters and/or item targets to hunt/gather with a time limit and the kills/items are shared among all 32 of you. For every monster/item type you've successfully hunted/gathered, a Squad mission will be unlocked that can be accessed via the Squad Console in your BLADE room. You can either clear it solo or with your own AI partners or with other players. Once you or someone has cleared that mission, it will be gone until the next reset.
